Canyon Eaux Rousses
The Eau Rousse canyon is located near La Léchère in Savoie on the road from Albertville towards Moutiers and Bourg Saint Maurice. It’s also the most accessible of the canyons we offer. In fact, it’s an open stretch of river made up of boulders, offering a wide range of crossing options. This canyon is therefore open to families and children aged 8 and over who can swim. It’s also an accessible, fun and refreshing canyoning trip.
Description of the Eau Rousse canyon

This canyoning trip begins with a short approach walk along and then up the river for around 50m.
The descent then takes place in a section of the river made up of a chaos of rocks, offering a number of passages that are easy to get to grips with. The numerous options also make this a very accessible and feasible route. Eaux Rousses canyon also features jumps, slides and optional abseils. It also has a monkey bridge.
In conclusion, the Eau Rousse canyon is a fun and aquatic canyoning trip. It’s also a refreshing little canyon that delights everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. In short, even the most athletic are fans! The cold is also a key factor in the enjoyment of the canyon, so we equip the youngest with neopren shorts under their wetsuit.

Bathing suit or shorts. Tennis type shoes. Aquashoes prohibited.
You can reserve a pair of SELAND canyon shoes with Emmanuelle when you book. Allow an extra 10€ per pair of shoes. Please note, however, that we only have a limited stock available. RESERVATION MANDATORY.

Canyoning outdoor activity
First of all, canyoning is an outdoor sporting activity with no need for a boat. It involves walking, swimming and crossing obstacles in different ways, either by jumping, sliding, abseiling. It is therefore essential to know how to swim.
Secondly, the approach, descent and return times are given as a guide only, and may vary according to weather conditions, how often the canyon is used and the level of the group.
Please note that canyoning is not recommended for people who are sensitive to vertigo or have weak backs. So please, don’t force anyone to come. It is OBLIGATORY to inform us of any physical or mental handicap when you make your reservation, just as it is required to inform the guide before your departure in canyon.
