The Eau Rousse “Family” canyon descent is located near La Léchère in Savoie and more precisely on the road from Albertville towards Moutiers. This is the most accessible of the canyons we offer, as it is an open section of river made up of boulders offering a wide range of crossing options. This canyon is open to families with children aged 8 and over who can swim, as well as to all those, whether alone, in a couple or with friends, who are of a regular constitution and want to have a fun and refreshing time.

This canyoning trip starts with a short approach walk along and up the river for about 50m.
Then the canyoning descent takes place in a section of river formed by a mass of stones that offers multiple passages in which it is easy to get caught up in the action. The numerous options for passage make this a very accessible and doable route. The Eau Rousse canyon features jumps, slides and optional abseils, as well as a monkey bridge.
This Eau Rousse canyon descent is a fun and aquatic canyoning trip. It’s a refreshing little canyon that delights everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. Even the most athletic are fans !
As the cold is a key factor in the enjoyment of a canyon, we equip the youngest with neoprene short suits underneath the 5.5mm one-piece wetsuit.

Shoes
Closed tennis type shoes. Bathing suit or shorts. Aquashoes prohibited.
You can reserve a pair of SELAND canyon shoes with Emmanuelle when you book. Allow an extra 10€ per pair of shoes. Please note, however, that we only have a limited stock available. RESERVATION MANDATORY.

Canyoning outdoor activity
First of all, canyoning is an outdoor sporting activity with no need for a boat. It involves walking, swimming and crossing obstacles in different ways, either by jumping, sliding, abseiling. It is therefore essential to know how to swim.
Secondly, the approach, descent and return times are given as a guide only, and may vary according to weather conditions, how often the canyon is used and the level of the group.
Please note that canyoning is not recommended for people who are sensitive to vertigo or have weak backs. So please, don’t force anyone to come. It is OBLIGATORY to inform us of any physical or mental handicap when you make your reservation, just as it is required to inform the guide before your departure in canyon.
